Phases of
Talent 2019


Startups can register online to take part on the BBVA Open Talent, website between the 22th of May and the 8th of July.


The BBVA experts will analyze all the proposals received.

Announcement of Finalists

The national finalists will be announced on the 12th of August on the BBVA Open Talent website. Next 16th of September the three global finalists and the winner of the Sustainable Finance special award will also be announced.

National Final

The finalists for each country will present their projects in the hopes of being declared national winners.

Spain at South Summit Madrid.
Mexico at Finnosummit Ciudad de México.
Other countries at BBVA Open Talks.

Global Final

The winners for each country, the winner of the Sustainability Special Award and the three global finalists will be invited to BBVA Open Summit. Each of the teams will present their projects and the three global finalists will compete for the grand prize.

Online Training Programme

The national winners, the winner of the Sustainability Special Award the global finalists and the global winner will receive three days of mentoring, with BBVA experts in Madrid. They will also have access to an online acceleration programme and receive support from a BBVA mentor for 4 weeks.
